That all depends on the person, some may not be able to stay focused/on task at home, others are I am sure much more productive working from home due to less distractions, problems or issues.

No I do not feel it's as productive. If you are home you are not completely enveloped in a "Work" mindset. Too many personal distractions. Shooting e-mail to colleagues can create misunderstandings. It's so much better to get your mind into work by being at work

If the employee has the qualities needed, yes. Not all employees can be self-motivated and self-disciplined enough. Or they may not have an appropriate office space.

A responsible employee who works well that can follow instructions should be paid well accordingly that work from home.

Some are, some are not. It all depends on the person and the environment at home. If commute time is considered, the productivity of a work@home employee goes up substantially

This can be extemely variable, depending on a number of factors: The type of work being performed, the work habits of the individual, how well the worker is able to minimize distractions in the home office environment, how effectively the employer regulates the office environment...et al.

It depends on the type of work. Personally, I fee much more productive at work because all of my resources are in the office. I am unable to take my resources home.

It depends. If an employee has the right mentality and discipline to work from home, they are often more productive than many who work in the office. Others do not thrive in that environment. There is also a communications challenge with having people work remotely, solvable, but very important.

No, I believe for the majority of people, office work is more productive. There are a few people who can work just as well or better from home.

Good employees are productive either way! Bad employees are less productive either way. Accountability doesn't change much from the office to remote work.

Working from home at least part time is more productive than working in an office. With the open office plans currently in vogue the noise and distractions in the office make it almost impossible to get things done.

Certain employees are. Especially those who need a quiet space to focus on their work.

Not unless they are truly dedicated and have a space for work only and can be completely without distractions.

Hard to answer - I think it depends on the person and the day. Some office environments can be more distracting than home.

They can be if they have the self discipline to stay on task and not be distracted by day-to-day household activities. Having a committed "office space" is essential for this.
