I only slept 2 hours last night. How can I get through my workday?

    I'm a blessed person who only needs five hours for a full night's sleep. If I only get two hours I am very careful to watch my attitude. I generally take calming hergs, like valerian, and also try to remember not to drink too much coffee. I tell myself it's for a limited time and when I'm done I get to sleep. I can white knuckle with a smile on my face. But the best solution is to make sure I get enough sleep. It's not difficult to do. I live alone and all of my children are grown, so it's my responsibility and very little interferes.

    Maybe have some coffee or an energy drink & try to hold it together.

    Ouch. Coffee and 5 hour energy. More importantly don't do this again, and re-pritotize work. Sleep 8 hours period - your health comes first, can't really add value if you burn out #truestory

    Do not make any pivotal decisions, if need be, consult with a trusted colleague. Lack of sleep could impact practical judgement.

    No issue. Easy. Often don’t sleep at all and work 48 hours straight to get the job done. Do what is needed to succeed.
