I am working abroad for bigger paycheck :)
Sounds good but it would depend on what country.
Depends on location
No way! Staying in the good old USA.
Depends on location, but probably yes.
No, I would have to calculate the cost of living to see if my net money to be a bigger paycheck.
Only on a temporary assignment.
I’d feel like the experience is freeing.
I would greatly appreciate the opportunity, especially if it allowed vacation travel to other locations.
I'd need to get a passport but otherwise have no reservations against it.
It would depend on where its at, what time of year it is, what kind of stores and shops are there(food, clothing, etc), and only if I didn't have kids or they were all grown.
Done it before. Would do it again if the money, housing, and benefits were substantially better.
I would feel great about it. That is, if it is provided that healthcare, housing and food costs still make so. There might be other things to consider. In general it's good to be exposed to other cultures.
Depends upon where, but I would be open to it.
That’s what is fair for the employee. They should be paid for travel and boarding at least if not more for the time away from their family and loved ones.
I'd love it, if I could get some guidance on living and working in a foreign country - the culture, the food, restaurants, outdoor activities, etc.
I’d love to! I’d move to about a half dozen countries and never look back
Would love it. Would welcome it with open arms. Going overseas AND making MORE? that’s a win-win.
I would love the opportunity. Not just for the bigger paycheck but also for the chance to experience other places and learn their culture!
I would not like to leave my family.
It would depend on what work was involved, the problems working away from home and for how long the contract. Family must come first.
I would work abroad for the same paycheck
That would be great, so long as I could maintain (or improve) my standard of living.
One would have to weigh out pro/cons - can you uproot the family? How much bigger is the paycheck? Is it a safe place to relocate? What are the typical costs here versus abroad? Are you plus or minus if there an exchange rate to contend with?
It would depend on the location and how much bigger the paycheck was. With the right location and a large pay raise, I would be ecstatic to do this.
It's great, but... When you are an individual, it's ok, but can be tough on the rest of the family.
All for it. Have done it - worth it.
I would prefer to work remote with minimal travel required.
It would need to be a great opportunity, as well as travel stipend for going home to see my family, accommodation for my pets, and a job for my spouse as well.
Would need to be a much bigger paycheck (double what I make now), and would depend on where.
As people, we spend 100% of our time at work. It should be spent learning not only about your job but this world overall. Working abroad offers the opportunity for both. Why not?
Anyone would love making more money.
I'd love to work abroad for a bigger paycheck assuming "bigger paycheck" means after taxes and cost of living adjustment. I'd also have to consider where "abroad" means and whether the location fits with my preferences. A lot more to consider than just pay.
I would be very excited at the opportunity. I would want to make sure that there is a contract that specifies the expectations and my rights. Also, I would make sure that the pay is indexed to the cost of living so that I don't wind up being any worse off by moving than by staying.
