Don't sweat the small stuff .
Just continue doing what I'm doing, my job.
Keep track of your successes (on paper) and how you make a big posisitive impact in your Company.
Make sure your work is up to/ above standards. Be affirmative in your reasons for getting the raise. Your output will directly affect your income in most cases.
In my view, you should have been working on that from the beginning.
Be on time do your requirement for your job be honest about your needs
Do more than your job. Branch out. Learn. Look for jobs that no one else wants to do, and do them to perfection.
It's always good to have a list of your accomplishments during the year. This is especially true if you have specific KPIs that were assigned to you. Even better is if you can tie them to the corporate or business units goals. Another thing is to show any emails from others in the organization or customers that have congratulated and/or complimented you for a job well done.
Track why you’re worth it. Find examples of specific instances where you saved or made the company money. Saved a client, improved a workflow, helped make a process more efficient, etc. it’s going to be super awkward talking about yourself but don’t forget: employers expect employees to ask for raises.
Show that you deserve. Show numbers, your performance, how much your work matter and sum for the whole result of enterprise.
Document your accomplishments! Things you’ve worked on, projects you’ve designed or managed, any cost savings you’ve given to the company. If in sales, how many new customers and sales have to made in the last quarter and compare them year over year to show your improvement. Things like that which are tanglible and show growth will help show management why you deserve the raise.
Show leadership and take initiative
Document your accomplishments
Be the most productive employee in your workplace
