Early is always better. You’re fresher, you haven’t obsessed about interview, and you have a chance to make a strong impression before they get tired of interviewing.

No. Better chances are in the afternoon. Itll give you a sence of the enviorment and how management is during those times

I don't honestly think one is technically better than the other. I personally like getting them done earlier from an interviewee perspective as you have less time to be nervous and time to relax afterwards. It also may help the interviewer- typically you're not getting hired on the spot at a first interview(maybe not until a third or possiby fourth...) so having yours at the beginning of the day gives them all day to review and get back to you, as opposed to interviewing you in a rush at the end or near the end of the day

Early in the day is better because usually there is a cap on how many people can be hired. You don’t want to come later in the day and they are already close to their maximum.

It really depends on the type of people they and you are. From my experience, an early interview is easier and friendlier than an afternoon interview. At the end of a day all people really want to do is clock out and go home. Personally I have always gone for either right after opening or just after lunch.

End of day interviews are hard because the interviewer might be going home right afterwards and thus not send a note to HR or their team with feedback. By getting in the morning, the employer might be more energetic and excited about your prospect and pass along a note to HR to send an offer, or to the team to continue the interview process. Assuming you aren't entry level, if a company really likes someone, they will make things go pretty quickly so they don't lose them (Assuming the company is smart). Giving them time on the same day is definitely useful.

Probably in the morning I'm fresh full of coffee raring to start the day whereas in the afternoon I'm ready to go home

I can honestly say that the time of day does not matter.

A few hours into the day. They’ve woken up good but aren’t exhausted

Depends upon the interviewer. I prefer afternoon.

They'll hire you if you have 1 leg, a kickstand, have a highschool diploma, and can read English.

If it's early in the day, it's over faster. So... bonus? Less time to stress? In the afternoon gives you more time to double check yourself. So.. bonus? Time of day doesn't really matter.

Yes, early interviewers have not been abused by the daily operations
