They will Try to own your life! At least where I work they do not want you to have a life outside of work!!! Sometimes we will work like 12 hour days 17 days Straight. By then everyone is irritated. Tired not safe!

Poor. Strong emphasis on 100% billability, along with an uncertain backlog means there is no reserve capacity for work when it comes in and no appetite for hiring. This means most people are always working overtime.

It varies by office & group. Field projects can have better work life balance than an office until it's peak construction part of a project. IMO field life gives better opportunities for work life balance.

Pressure for being billable 90%+ leads to doing administrative tasks and other required overhead tasks on your own free time. You really have to fight to have a life outside of AECOM

Really depends on the office I would guess, but it is fairly comparable to other engineering offices I've worked in.
