I've only been full-time for about a month and a half, but so far I'm finding the work-life balance OK; I'm definitely putting in more hours than I did when I was a contractor (and no OT anymore), but I'd say 50 hours per week is about the max, and as a new employee I've been tending to stay later than others most days. Some employees also work from home and need to be available more frequently, though that depends on job function. So far I haven't seen supervisors demanding a certain number of hours; as long as the work is done, you're not really expected to stay late, though probably anything less than 40 would be frowned on.
This has to be YOUR decision, they will push you to give more & more. They will work salaried people more than hourly. However, if you push back and are strong, you can manage to have balance.
Life/work balance is typically very good. Employees are not generally expected to work long hours or weekends. BofA is not a startup, so has a culture of an established financial institution rather than a silicon valley startup.
We get along well. We got rid of the problem causes.
Great - very balanced and chill
Horrible there is not work balance
Just about right
