I think the CEO is largely ceremonial in nature. The issues that CA struggles with are in management but it's typically weak and scared SVP's that are roadblocks to change vs the CEO. If you see an SVP who is not supporting the status quo that person will not be employed in the next cycle - SVP's are the force that stops progress.
okay I guess.. the other SVP and VP level marketing leadership are classic big company "control freaks" running the reporting madness vs. having a true understanding of the customer and the challenges they face. Rampant favoritism. Challenging if not in NYC Madison or Santa Clara.
Most people regard the E-team as highly overpaid. I think they model our DNA well and communicate the importance of customer-focus , but their vision could use work. We need to focus our strategy on solving high-impact global challenges to grow.
People respect and despise him, he goes by "Biker Boy" due to the incredible amount of his personal likes and desired that the company funds and he has 48 million reasons to be happy with his sale to Broadcom.
I don't know much about the CEO except that he is a good public speaker and writer.
Out of touch with how to make money and grow.
Smart, focused, fit and a great asset to our company!
Mike Gregoire is the best.
