
Unlike some other employers, everything is contingent on your vertical, and sometimes, you direct line. In my case, there's a definite promotion path which you can proceed down if you distinguish yourself (if you're on a team that produces things). However, I've been told that any deviation from that path requires interviewing for another role in a different department.
Highly variable depending on how popular you are with Managers and the Architects. Being noticed in meetings is considered more valuable than skill. I say that as someone who joined the company as a Junior and made it to Lead.
