How employees describe working at Curriculum Associates
Great people and interesting work. Terrible communication and unrelenting frustration. Product goals shift constantly and editorial is underresourced. While we have unlimited vacation, project schedules are not adjusted. Generally, I have to work my "vacation" hours before and after I am out.
I've worked for a lot of Ed Tech companies and this is, by far, the best company I have worked for. Leadership is strong and transparent. Teamwork is evident and constant. Talented people all around me. So much support from my manager. Lots of perks that remind me of my value at CA.
They're forthright and seem to provide information and context around them as early as they can.
I deeply love working at CA. I feel more community here than I have at any other work place. While I know there are (valid) concerns about community and the post-COVID world, I have to say that I feel more supported and mentored than I have anywhere else before. I am thankful every day for my work.
I have been with CA a few months now and it has been a positive experience. My onboarding ran smoothly with processes already in place.
