Our People Success, Learning & Development, and Enablement teams are dedicated to providing learning tools, resources, and training that helps Toasters map their career journeys and grow. What are your coworkers at Toast, inc like?
The ones I work with on a regular basis are fantastic. I haven't met everyone, so I can't say that is the case across the board, but overall, the people who work for Toast are caring, hard working, and excited to be here.
What part of Toast, inc's business is growing fastest? What part is having difficulties?
Our sales team is growing quickly, but because of this, we tend to over commit. That leads to rushed installs and training.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Toast, inc?
Culture is the current buzz word for companies. At startups it tends to be defined by perks, such as free beer, parties, and unlimited vacation. That isn't culture. Culture should be defined by our work ethic and what we want to do for our customers as well as the world at large. I think this is something we are working on and trying to create a culture that exists outside of HQ.
What do people at Toast, inc think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
I think overall people think that Chris is great. He is genuine and goes above and beyond for the company.
