I am trying to get a job with dollar general and I'm waiting on my background check to go through but for some reason its saying its complete but they also said something about a search pending. I'm not sure what that means. Also the lady looking up my background check as well as her supervisor said that it had been sent to a tier2 support and not the lady or her supervisor knows why. I am so confused!!! What does this all mean I tried explaining it correctly.

Dollar General does to background checks as part of the hiring process; however, the company no longer requires a drug test. So, they now end up hiring a bunch of crackheads who walk out the front door with hundreds of dollars.

they do a background check but no drug test and they really should as I have seen some employees smoking pot and coming to work stoned

My store did not drug test but they did do a background check and that took forever almost 2 weeks to get back
