You must work for Giant for 2 years to receive paid vacation and personal time. Your vacation hours are calculated by averaging your weekly hours during the previous year (unless you are a full-time associate). If you are a full-time associate you start with two weeks paid at 40 hours per week. Personal time for full-time associates is given in 8 hour blocks. Part-time personal time is given in 4 hour blocks. Vacations and personal time requests are granted on a first come, first serve basis.
