If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Giant Food?
I would make jobs with Giant Food worth more. Higher wages. Full benefits for associates upon hire (instead of after 2 years). More full-time opportunities. The happier the employees are, the more positive customer experiences are. I would make jobs at Giant Food feel more like jobs for adults with families and ambitious professionals. Right now jobs at store level often seem more like jobs for students and retired people.

What's the vibe like in the Operations dept at Giant Food? How many hours are you working?
Part-time associates are scheduled a maximum of 25 hours per week. Extra hours can often be picked up though when other associates call off.
