The work life balance is generally good. With an excellent company, there is an expectation of excellent work, which doesn't always fit into 40 hours per week. So there is the occasional need to work late, but Faithlife is not a slave-driver by any means. My experience is that the company is conscious of the extra time that employees put in, and if it gets to be a lot of extra time, then the employee will be expected to take some time off when the project is finished to compensate for the extra time worked.
Work life balance at Faithlife is in a good place. As with all jobs, there is still a correlation between what you put in and what you get back, but team leads at Faithlife do not expect you to put in crazy hours. Faithlife shows understanding that there is life outside of work and encourages employees to be active in other spaces.
Faithlife encourages work life balance and it shows in the vacation and sick time policy (both unlimited for salaried employees). Some employees don't have boundaries themselves and will not actually use their vacation time, but that's not Faithlife's fault.
Good. There is a healthy tension between a pressure for delivery, and availability to take personal time as needed. Unlimited vacation is a real thing.
Great! Many employees have families and it's normal to be home for dinner every day. Not to mention the "unlimited" vacation policy.
Perfect. Faithlife is very flexible and can help each person build a career plan that serves both professional and personal career goals.
For me it's impossible—because my work and my life are intertwined in so many ways. But I'm not complaining: I like it.
It's stellar. Flexible hours (in most positions) and plentiful vacation make it easy to have a good work life balance.
It is great! One of the best companies I have worked for in terms of work/life balance.
Great. Encouraged not to take work home with you. 40-45 hrs /week average.
Excellent. It's one of the main things keeping me here.
Average, dependent on each person.
