MetLife has a solid company culture with a wide variety of internal positions. However, the struggle to keep up with the technology of other competitors with some systems like MetLink being dismal compared to competitors.

Depends on your team. Some teams hire dreamers and innovators. Others hire someone they can be friends with, then take it personally when that person wants to maintain a professional relationship.
What part of MetLife's business is growing fastest? What part is having difficulties?

Don't really care. I left after dealing with the most toxic environment I have ever experienced.
What do people at MetLife think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
I think the CEO has some good ideas, he isn't getting much support from the Directors.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at MetLife?
Release, most of middle management. There are some really good managers there who know what is going on and are born mentors. There are others who aren't worth their weight in salt and they hurt the culture more than anything. They need to be let go and the management structure needs to be rejuvenated. Executive leaders should make sure middle management are driving their values and not fighting it. It's crushing to go to an all hands meeting and receive the direction the executive team wants to steer the organization only to go back to your desk and hear the direct opposite from your leader.

Quick to point the finger and blame someone else. Very process heavy and incredibly slow to get anything done.
