Though we're professionalizing in many ways, we are losing our sense of urgency & buy-in. People seem committed to their teams but often lose sight of the larger shared goal. There's a lot of "that's going to create more work for us" vs. "what value will this add". I'd love to see more buy-in.
The equity package is good
Wins that unlock new growth. Step-function changes that either are or feel like they are moving us in the right direction.
People seem to like each other and care about one another. I often hear laughter in the office and it seems like most people enjoy the company of others, even if it's mainly their own teams.
Everyone at PH is kind, friendly, and hard-working. There is not a single person I don't personally like or who I would mind being stuck at the airport with. For the most part, people seem to want to help one another.
The LT is made up of people who genuinely care about the people in the company. Even though their decisions aren't always the best, it does seem that they come from a good place. I enjoy spending 1on1 time with each of them.
Solving important problems with friends. A sense of urgency to get the truly important things done. Ruthless prioritization and a shared awareness of these priorities. Spending quality time with co-workers who are friends, both during and outside of work. Support and transparency from leadership.
Very collaborative team that goes out of its way to help others. Also, people genuinely care about one another and the customer. Also appreciate that people have such unique backgrounds and interests. Genuinely fun people to be around and who push each other to be better
I think they operate with best intentions and want individuals to succeed along with the company. They are all approachable and willing to hear out issues from the rest of the company. I think they are cognizant about trying to over-communicate, even when it doesn't always materialize that way.
People are very ambitious and want to success both as a team and individually. This produces a high quality of work. Plus, we usually hold each other accountable which helps feel like we're all in it together. Does not feel cutthroat even though everyone here is driven to succeed.
I believe compensation should be directly tied to the value an employee creates and not their age or title. I believe that I have created significantly more value (sales growth and cost savings) than is reflected in my total cash comp. I would feel better if my OTE reflected the value I am creating.
