I think the most positive aspect with my position within the company is the openness I can have with my upper management.
They are open to the changes that have a occurred. They are receptive to new management and a new way of doing business. They are also respectful to new management.
As a manager, I feel undervalued because the technicians I work with are getting paid more than me. I would feel better when my pay is matched or above than the highest paid technician on my team.
I believe the leadership team needs to understand how each department plays a role within the team. When roles get shifted, it creates significant changes that aren't always beneficial to the company as a whole. Shifting of roles now does not meet the pay for those who took on these new roles.
