I think that we need to better standardize the content, copy and behavior when we add new features. Frequently the screens/copy in Android and iOS are different or the behavior isn't the same across key features (important for devs to have creative freedom, but certain things have to be the same)
- Logging a great bug that I know would have tripped up users in production. - Having Kyle or Deepak tell me that they're happy with the results - Learning new things about our backend systems. - Delivering value for the time billed and helping to improve the UX / user's overall perception.
It'd be better if we controlled how we implement new features, we frequently seem rushed in that we don't go back and fix minor defects prior to tackling the next area. Also, the "process" would be improved if we were able to turnaround defects more quickly, we have many that are >6 mo old.
