My direct manager genuinely cares about my growth.
The benefits are great, and there is always something to do.
I enjoyed getting to meet people from different departments during my interview
Our direct supervisors work very hard to keep us content, and are transparent when there are issues. Senior leadership is completely the opposite.
Our team is very close knit, we have to be like that because our massive workload demands it. Leadership requires check in and bonding meetings, but we get more interaction out of working than we do sitting on Zoom for an hour listening to leadership double speak.
We are not paid commensurate with our workloads and experience. There is no truly entry level jobs, but for tech, we're making entry level wages. We recently tried to ask SLT why that is, and what they are doing to make it right - and our whole department got talked down to and gaslit for it.
