They give us the resources needed to succeed and are fully supportive of our ambitions.
New idea; focused on environment and making Solar important for everyone
Very focused on your individual growth rather than just how you can benefit the company.
Dedication to get the job done.
Focus on company values and goals
Transparency, set realistic goals, communicate with the team about expectations and review ALL processes to update and/or lean them out.
Higher leadership needs to be better at their jobs of leading.
Better at acknowledging our hard work and communicating new changes within the company. As well as better communication with builders and utilities that often coordinators need to do on their behalf.
Listening to the talent they hire. Why bring in talent to make change and then not listening their expertise? Also, I'd make sure the software (CATALYST) is fully baked before launching into the field to disrupt our partner relationships. Better at Leadership over dictatorship.
The leadership team in my opinion is not friendly and is number driven only.
Stock Compensation and generous 401K matching.
I believe our bonus is fairly compensated and is great reminder of our push as a team for the years goal.
Best part is Restricted stocks
The pay for an intern is competitive.
I've been paid a market rate
I take on much more work than my job description and hadn't received a raise for this increased work load and dependencies.
I was hired for X position and paid X salary with no direct reports. I've recently been assigned direct reports and made a supervisor without being notified or a change in salary.
My role has expanded and my pay has remained the same. I would like my compensation to be aligned with my role.
It should be more competitive to similar industries.
Being paid more for the work that we do. More work is given and no extra pay for it. PTO and sick hours should not be the same. Recognition and praise means nothing if there is no compensation for it.
Everyone is willing to help each other and believe we are all one team with one goal in mind.
Friendly; supportive; hard working and knowledgeable
Everyone is very welcoming and is a cheerleader for your development.
Its a new team but everyone is so professional and eager to learn and help. i just love it
Very caring about each other
No synergy amongst remote workers.
I have a really good team; there are some who are lazy, hide work, and rush to accomplish tasks at the very last second. I wish for better communication. The entire team should be notified of one's absense to we can work together for coverage instead of one person handling majority of the workload.
Too many silos within the department and working against each other
The work environment determines the coworker and its a bad work environment.
Executives and their next level down leaders need to built trust between departments. They should model collaborative problem solving and eliminate domineering and arrogant behavior.
Excellent remote work opportunities. Very strong leaders who look for every opportunity to improve and don't look for ways to blame people for mistakes. We all make them from time to time.
The work space is inclusive and the hybrid work schedule is a flexible environment that allows the employee to thrive comfortably.
Making difference by bringing affordable solar
There is no micromanagement. cross functional teams are awesome and it's a way to learn more about the company that in return makes you more valuable.
my direct manager's caring personality
Providing more team building or interactive events for those in other offices
The company needs to provide, not frequent, but once in awhile employee appreciation events in order for us to have more team bonding and networking amongst the company at least in the Irvine location. As well as , more acknowledgement towards all employees and not just leadership.
Less meetings, less approval steps, and button down a bit
1) If the company wants to go REMOTE mostly, then allocate a budget and organize the in-person offline event for professional workers to get together. 2) Hire Exe. (above Director level) team with deep knowledge of how to invest in available technologies (AI and automatic) tool) and streamline proce
Improve cross functional barriers to promote growth
Tons of questions and several interviews to hire the very best
It was quick and efficient; I went through three rounds (initial screening, then more in-depth, then meeting my future boss).
How comfortable my interviewers made me feel
Great questions and fast replies
It went quickly once there was mutual interest

Remote work environment is the optimal environment for me and i'm happy that Sunnova can and does accommodate a remote workforce.
The thing that makes me the most happy is I'm making a difference in today's world of energy choices and a more sustainable future for society.
Different opportunities; making difference in process
seeing my team members and getting coffee lol
The fact that we are helping home owners generate their own power source and help the environment.
Too much chaos and lack of good decisions by leaders
After changing offices my commute time has drastically increased, working form home or looking at close office opportunities would help
The lack of proper processes, to many manager/leaders who are inept to lead a team. We need managers who can introduce change, lead and get over the finish line. There's a constant mindset to be reactive but not proactive.
Better pay, better benefits, better incentive.
Leadership, better compensation and benefits, communication, acknowledgement
