This company is full of it! I've been there almost 13 years and barely making $13.00 an hour but now people are coming in and making more than I am! I liked it before when the yearly raises were at least .40, .50, and .60 but now u barely get a .25 raise and it really pisses me off! I work too hard for hardly any money, this is 2020 and barely making $750.00 every two weeks! Something needs to change in a BIG way! I also miss getting paid for Sundays and time and a half! I don't like that they take PTO time away for holiday pay like y'all are a billion dollar company and real stingy with your coins! Y'all need to fix this ASAP before you have no employees!
Not as much as it used to in the beginning 19+ years ago if you were a good worker and did well in your position you could get merit raises along with your really not as much as it used to in the beginning 19+ years ago if you were a good worker and did well in your position you could get merit raises along with your yearly raise. Now all we have is a raise once a year that usually ends up being anywhere from $.10-$.23.
I have been working almost 6 years at my store and many new hires make more than me even though due to cross training I have to at times do the same work. No merit raises, no raises for how much cross training you have and are used for. I work harder than some managers but because I have refused their positions due to availability requirements. And I have at times been required to even do their jobs when none of them could be there.
I think this sucks Walmart should pay everybody $16.50...Because at certain stores they gave the people that work overnight they do the stocking and they get paid 16.50 at certain stores but they don't do the damn job right... Because I think this dollar raise for the other employees that work harder and do more and have to deal with customers they should get paid the same thing as of the overnight people
What is the point of have max out rate if you can never reach it,if you get a raise it so small you will never max they took away jobs and ad new jobs that pay 20 dollars per hour or more that is where the raise is going to,Sam Walton would be displeased with that.
Was a stocker for 8 months. Seen promotions for slackers and the hard workers didn't get anywhere. Tried to transfer to another store when I moved and management screwed that up. Couldn't even get unemployment.. stay away from Walmart, it's a corrupt machine. Promotions for "special favors" if you know what I mean.
Started in 2019. And yet still no petty .24 cent raise. Worst company ever. And if a co worker has covid they will not inform anyone. I understand the privacy law but your at least supposed to to be notified you were exposed.
Never. Almost never. Worked myself to become the fastest, most reliable, and self managed member of my department. At nearly 2 years I've gotten one 26 cent raise. I will never work for this company again after I find a replacement job.
Worked here with promise of a chance to level up I’ve been on over nights for 2 years and there are 0 raises and 0 signs of me even having the chance to advance and they are very stingy with there coins
22 years with Walmart and u get yearly raises and profit sharing once a year. Plus a discount on purchases amazing benefits. Tired of everyone always bashing Walmart. That company hasn't given my family and I amazing life
Never. They just got rid of bonuses to pay the workers more...no raise has been allowed. So they canned our bonus just to take more money from their struggling workers.
Yearly though since we got that 1 dollar raise earlier this year we won't get 1 this year. Usually around April is that annual raise typically.
They count minimum wage increase as a raise... So after 6 years I make as much as the starting employees when I work twice as hard...
What raise, I've been working a year already in the pharmacy and been working so hard in this Covid 19 crisis . So sad .
Right now every 6 months you get a raise. I just started a year ago and got $0.50/hr raise.
Every 6months and it’s based on performance but even if you out perform it’s hard to get decent raise.
Been here 4 years and no raise. New people just starting make the same or more as me!
I’ve been at Walmart for 2 years and I’ve only gotten 28 cents l
Once a year around evaluation time even though they aren't merit base anymore.
Never. I haven’t received a yearly raise in 5 years
Once a year if you are lucky
At least once a year
Every Year in February
Almost never
Almost yearly
