After 5 years of working at AmFam I still don't understand how this company is in business. They have created silos between every group within the business, do not fairly compensate employees (contractors are different), rely on outside agencies for advice instead of their own employees, and more.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
The territorial nature of certain things across the enterprise makes it difficult to get things done without long drawn-out conversations. Additionally the lack of respect that individuals have for one another in their respective fields creates a terrible working culture.
