I deeply appreciate the company culture, both from above and the curiosity and discourse I share with my coworkers. That said, I also feel a large amount of pressure to perform on slow-moving projects with changing specifications. Communicating these specifications across teams is challenging.

The trust put in engineers and the culture of valuing our work is extremely positive
What makes you most happy at work?
I am happiest at work when I feel that I am useful. Learning new things and solving new problems makes work enjoyable, as well as working with other people.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team tackles difficult problems and keeps a sense of humor and curiosity. As a more junior engineer, I am inspired by my peers and hope to continue learning from them.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The trust put in engineers is a unique and invaluable asset of the leadership team. They have done a great job of supporting, coordinating, and listening to engineers rather than micromanaging or pushing for features over code quality.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
In general, the ability to work remotely improves my productivity and allows me to pick what types of work environment I need for the day (quiet and focused or social and collaborative). Specific to compensation, the FTA allows for flexibility and helps me visit my family during holidays and breaks
