I think the intent is there, and the goals that the company has are attainable. I think overall leadership has the right mindset, however there is a lot that needs to be done in terms of the growth of the HR/people department as well general understanding of what your employees do.

they are knowledgeable and generally care about their projects.

I think they have a good vision and focus on what their goals are for the company.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I do not think that our role gets the recognition, acknowledgement or respect from other parts of the organization
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
the CEO seems to be focused on Mental health which is good progress. However the work expectations and expected bandwidth does not align with work life balance.
