Layoffs have people afraid for their jobs, I think many people are looking to go elsewhere. Leadership in the department is lacking and people feel micromanaged and not supported.

Compensation and benefits don't equal culture. Treat people with respect, value their feedback and incorporate it into your strategy. There are a lot of angry, frustrated people out here - listen to them.

There is sometimes a push for last-minute items that are of high importance but there is little turnaround time to complete them. some tasks/responsibilities are hazy as to who they fall under and who should take care of them.

Layoffs have been happening quietly, leaving many staff members concerned for their jobs. Transparency about this and consistency at the executive level would greatly improve employee morale.

Constant problems with sub contractors. More and better subs.

Lots of stress. I wished there was an option between yes and no. My NO answers were more in between but there was no option for that. Sales and Production needs to work together as a team instead of blaming each other for job gone wrong.

Need to pour into Operations and the technology to support the Operations team. They hire people with incredible ideas and experience but will not utilize them for what they hired them to do. They also hire people who have no experience or knowledge at all and there is no direction or training

Permitting is taking too long, we are losing jobs due to this timeline. Need more permitting people and in-house architects for drawings. PMs have very little experience and are afraid to upset people by aggressively pursuing timelines.
