Curbio Leadership Employee Reviews | Comparably
Curbio Claimed Company
Curbio is a residential general contractor whose only business is preparing homes for sellers and buyers. The company operates in dozens of U.S. markets from coast-to-coast, and 100% of its customers are referred by their real estate agents. Thousands of realtors recommend Curbio to their clients. Although the company offers the full range of interior and exterior services, it has built its reputation on providing services that traditional contractors overlook. These include staging; deep cleaning; replacing outdated light bulbs, doorbells, thermostats, and other tech; and money-saving services like refacing cabinets and glazing tubs and tile. read more

Curbio Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

knowledgeable, nimble, caring focused on building a great company

Thus far, they seem to care to keep the employees they have and work hard to make sure we have a career with Curbio, they don't seem to just throw us away in the trash like other companies.

Review from Operations Dept

Reliable and consistent support; leads from the front!

Review from Operations Dept

I directly report to someone I actually respect and that takes time to speak with me about what I need to do to improve. I appreciate that a lot.

Review from Sales Dept

Excellent communication and clear goals.

The leadership team not only cares about the company's goals. they care about its employees' success.

They have clear goals and are usually pretty transparent

Not afraid to try things, open to ideas, and focused on our core mission

Review from Marketing Dept

They are clear about our vision and goals. They prioritize our happiness and professional growth. They create an environment of impact for us.

Review from Marketing Dept

They try hard to improve !

Review from Sales Dept

I highly regard our leadership team for their strategic vision, collaborative approach, and commitment to employee growth, fostering a productive and inclusive environment.

Review from Operations Dept

They seem like genuinely nice and caring people who are highly invested in the growth of the company and quality of life for their employees.

Review from Sales Dept

They're real. They care. And they're transparent.

Review from Sales Dept

Their positivity, resilience, and execution.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Leadership above the RD level could be more personally involved, not all projects are perfect and we face many challenges with Owners and Agents. I sometimes feel that they do not have a vested interest in employee well being.

Review from Operations Dept

I've been here only a few months, and I appreciate being heard

They will often adapt as needed to ensure that our team is getting the support it needs.

Review from Sales Dept

They value my input and reward me. The harder I work the more I am rewarded

Review from Operations Dept

My Manager is fantastic, he gives me the tools to succeed!

Review from Sales Dept

They are proactive in sharing their vision for the company and communicate their goals clearly.

Review from Sales Dept

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Transparency, organization, clarity on steps forward for improvement instead of blanket statements, processes that are established and followed company-wide so that there are not questions on how to execute

Review from Operations Dept

Communicating goals and overall company vision needs to improve. Recognition of staff needs to improve. Leadership acts like they care about people, but actions seem like that isn't the case. Layoffs have been quietly happening and have people afraid for their jobs.

Review from Marketing Dept

Listen to your team about what they really need instead of projects that add complexity and workload. Treat people with respect instead of disparaging them behind their backs.

Review from Sales Dept

In the forefront, they frequently change their course, hinder any cross-functional teamwork beyond the executive tier, and cultivate an atmosphere of unease by dismissing novel ideas, dissenting opinions, and suggestions that challenge their antiquated perspectives.

Review from Marketing Dept

Recognize and express their appreciation to the employees. At a company meeting rhe CEO once said that employees are not always the most valuable parts of the company. Even if thats what they believe it doesnt create great morale

Review from HR Dept

My manager needs management training. She is not a leader. She is an IC with a team under her.

Review from Marketing Dept

Outlining long-term goals needs to improve, especially when goals seem to change frequently. Communication around staffing changes and reductions also needs to be improved.

quicker response time to myself and clients

Review from Operations Dept

Need to focus less on Sales and Marketing and take care of Operations which is literally customer facing and the customer experience

Review from Operations Dept

Taking actual feedback from thr field.

Review from Operations Dept

Following through on promises in a timely fashion.

Review from Operations Dept

Communication - There needs to be more information shared across departments on day-to-day work so we all understand what is happening to ensure we are in alignment. Respect - Senior leadership has, at times, been demeaning, disrespectful and rude to those not in executive posts.

Review from Sales Dept

Focus on the outcomes, client experience, timelines, quality

Leadership team is the executives. The lack of communication is astonishing frankly. The Executive just blames people instead of looking in the mirror and trying to fix processes. Not a good work environment.

Review from Operations Dept

Figuring out their business model. Are we a construction company or some service company that claims to do construction but doesnt set io their PMs properly to run the construction in the field?
