I truly love working for Hometap! I can honestly say that I was loving every part of it until our vacation changed. And I only took a few days off last year. I just think making it an accrual system is going super far backward and doesn't maintain the same culture as before. It put a lot of pressure
What makes you most happy at work?
Making progress on something I have been working to complete. Accomplishing tasks each day and leaving feeling like I have done something positive.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We are a great team! We cover for each other when someone is out, we help each other, and we give each other respect.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone is super supportive of each other and nice. I think we all understand we are working towards the same goal to get the best for the homeowners we work with.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Jeff is really awesome! He does a great job with being transparent with the company and how we are doing overall. He also seems to really care about the employees and making sure we all feel like we have a part to play.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
It used to be unlimited PTO. It sucks that a few people ruined that for everyone. It should have just had more parameters placed on it so that managers felt empowered to help with issues they were having. For those of us who are responsible and care about our jobs, this felt like a punishment
