I have bern lucky to work with & in some high performing teams. I have also had the privelege to manage some great teams. However, senior management have either disassembled the teams or thwarted their expansion.

Stop scripted interviews. Treat candidates as humans Actually get to know them

Complete change of senior management. Breaking down of clique culture at senior levels. Increased honesty, respect for the opinions of all colleagues at all levels. Actually working as a group of teams who come together as a working organisation

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Senior Management who are blinkered, authoritarian, do not listen & are morally corrupt.
