What do you like best about the leadership team?
Our entire leadership team truly care about their employees. They lead by example and are one of the best parts of working at MarketStar.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We have a small team so it's easy to get to know each other. We all work together to help each other out which binds us together as a group.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone is super nice! You are never made to feel like a lesser person because you don't have a big title. Keith, our CEO, will literally stop you in the hallway just to say hi.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was easy. Didn't have to go through a lengthy interview process hopping from one interview to the next. Most other companies have multiple assessments and then 3 or more interviews--even for the most basic positions.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
MarketStar has awesome benefits like 401(k) match, awesome medical/dental/vision/mental health benefits, child care assistance and tuition reimbursement...just to name a few. The best part? We get 4.5 weeks of PTO to start!! That is absolutely unheard of and much appreciated.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being able to do my job the way I know how and being trusted to do it effectively. Not being micromanaged makes a huge impact not only on the way I feel about my job but on the end result.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We are just that--a team! No backbiting or trying to one up the other. Sure, we have varying personalities but isn't that what makes it great? It would be boring if everyone was exactly the same. I LOVE the diversity of our team and I'm truly proud to work here.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Average pay for my role is a bit higher than what I make now but the benefits and plus of working in a practically stress-free environment make up for a lower salary. Money is great but peace of mind and the knowledge I am trusted to do my job are priceless.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
From day one, MarketStar really shows how much they care about me as an individual. I've been a round the block in corporate America but this is the first company I truly feel like I belong. My ideas are appreciated. I'm allowed to do my job the way I know. It's a breath of fresh air.
