Like many retail/sales jobs, there are some setbacks and shortcomings. However, this has been one of my more rewarding and fulfilling experiences working in sales/retail. I look forward to my future with the company and where it will take me.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They make an active attempt to reach out to employees, ask for honest feedback, and act upon it.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone has at least one common interest, so it's always easy to find a conversation topic. Co-workers are ready and willing to help when needed.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being able to help someone with a problem they have, or teaching them about a new technology or solution for their problems is genuinely gratifying and makes my job fulfilling.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone having at least one thing in common to talk about. Basically everyone working here is a nerd about one thing or another, and it's great being able to bond over shared interests.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
My one issue is the hourly pay during tasks when the store is not open. If project pay, or even minimum wage was used during those working hours, I would have no issues.
