What makes you most happy at work?
My team. The people truly make the place and I could not ask for a better group of people to work alongside.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We are truly a huge family across the nation. Nucor has a network that is so rare in a company of this size. Every single teammate is reachable and willing to support, we truly all work together as a unite.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The opportunity to be interview by various people, rather than from one perspective through panel interviews. Nucor also does great job of catering their interview processes to the team, the role, and the candidate to make sure its the best fit for everyone.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
As a young professional, starting at my first job out of college for Nucor, the corporate world felt so intimidating. Nucor leadership does such a great job of making sure our team feels a part of a community. We have a great network within the company that is definitely a testament to our leaders.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team has such a great dynamic, they work hard and well together. I always feel I can learn so much from each of them and they are always willing to help in any way. I have never connected with a teammate at Nucor that was not willing to offer support. It is something very special to be apart of.
