The leadership team is authentic and actually means it when they talk about safety and family. So many other companies throw around buzzwords but the actions back up the words. I have seen and heard so many stories about how Nucor has showed up for teammates families and that comes from top down.

Keep our pay raises more in line with the local cost of living and especially with rising inflation. Even with the average 2-3% annual pay raise we're essentially taking a pay cut each year due to inflation. The wages and benefits at Nucor Seattle are not very competitive with other local employers.
