QVC has some flexibility in scheduling work hours for Flex workers but the recent AHT, Average Handle Time, and required upsells have transformed a nice part time job into a stressful one that makes you rush through the ordering process and constantly push upsells to everyone that calls.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone works to help the other. There is a positive climate among my fellow workers.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I feel my immediate supervisor is quick to help and offer suggestions when needed. She is easily accessible, knowledgeable and very positive. She takes the time to help you learn the process and encourages you in your efforts.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We are paid less than others less skilled and have to provide our own equipment (computer less than 3 years old with numerous requirements). Our required hours are adjusted according to what the company needs, more volume and work with the pandemic hasn't been taken into account in our pay scale.
