Amazing communication. it's easy and we respect each other's work. Collaboration is also encouraged and sets us up for success.

Since we're all remote, I'd love to find a way to do a once a quarter in person meet up.

I have a great manager and the autonomy I need. I don't have to worry about being micro-managed and can work in my style. Also, expensed lunches are nice!

They care about listening to everyone's feedback, and are heavily involved in important aspects of the company. They aren't above doing any grit work and helping out. They're also super flexible and open to my needs outside of work.

What makes you most happy at work?

Apart from being fairly compensated for what I do, I feel like I'm respected in my role. I'm not getting micro-managed, or thrown off the deep end. I also like that people want to engage, socialize, and get to know you. It's overall a great vibe.

What are some of the best things about your team?

It's hard to connect genuinely when doing remote work. But daily/weekly meetings with my team make it work. We're not afraid to chat about our personal lives or something not work related for a few minutes, before focusing on a task. It's very open, genuine, and communicative.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Apart from generous compensation, I'm grateful for the added perks--especially in a remote-first work environment. For example, getting a daily allowance for lunch and my WiFi paid for. I also love that if there's something not included in my comp package, it's open for discussion to add something.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Transparency and the folks that get hired. We do weekly all-hands company meetings, and it's really great to hear good new, and even the bad news, from our CEO. In general, it's such an open, friendly, and positive space to be in. Funny Slack channels and gifs help too.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

They're open to collaboration and ideas from anyone in the company, whether you're in the C-Suite or a manager. Since it's a tight-knit company, I really feel like I can connect and share my ideas. I also love that I get to talk with my CEO & VP on a daily basis.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Everyone is really friendly. We aren't just hiring people based on skill, we also care about who they are as a person and if it's a good fit for both parties. I can have fun with my coworkers, and trust that at the end of the day we care about our jobs and each other.
