Initially, I was hired to do one thing and learn from a manager. Now, I've grown to be an integral part of the team. I've gotten to dip my toes into new creative outlets, add job responsibilities, and work across different teams. I feel like I produce meaningful work.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is authentically themselves. We laugh together, genuinely enjoy each others company, are invested in each others lives and have compassion.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel valued, and actually just found out before this survey I was submitted for a title change and promotion. HR takes a while to process.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Their transparency into the business, future, financials, and long-term strategy and goals. Leadership is also empathetic, understanding, and realizes that people have lives and work to accommodate them.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There is always room to carve your own career path. Management is very receptive and accommodating if you want to pivot, explore something new, or challenge yourself. Employees in other departments are also very eager to show you how to do something if you're curious.
What makes you most happy at work?
My ability to be creative and define the brand voice at SpotHero. I feel my team has gotten to shape the new era of customer communications and I feel we are at an awesome spot. Being at SpotHero right now is a very exciting time to be a member of the team.
