Prior to SpotHero, I was what many would refer to as a "job-hopper". I often found myself bored and uninspired, frequently leaving jobs at or around the 1 year mark. I've now been at SpotHero for 6 years and can genuinely say that I'm happy. I am challenged and invested in my work + the company.

My experience at SpotHero has been great! Everyone works very hard & is friendly. Even during a downturn (Covid) leadership went out of its way to help employees and make everyone feel heard & cared for.

Transparency on all levels. I have worked for a few organizations & SpotHero by far has the most transparent leadership team. Not only do they value us as employees but also as people. Leadership is always putting employees' feelings & needs first.

They have an open door policy and truly invite feedback and ideas from all levels of employees. they seem to really care about the quality of the product as are providing, as well as the team members under them being happy and heard.

Only 2 people lead SpotHero and both totally lack leadership and management skills. It's only a matter of time until the board steps in. The rest of the leadership team needs to embrace a future with strong leadership and move on from the current rudderless nightmare.

Health insurance coverage is incredible, we just extended our offerings to include pet insurance, which means a lot. I don't have human children, but do have dogs who I treat like children.

Pay is the only area where I feel undervalued. Everything else is great. Higher pay to match market & experience level is appreciated. It is important to note that leadership is already made those strides to improve overall compensation for all employees at SpotHero.

I believe the people team is currently putting in the research and work to reevaluate salaries and making sure everyone is paid at or above industry standard.

I don't want other people to make LESS money and I don't think I have an unrealistic expectation that all things should be "equal" between roles, BUT I feel that the actual work-hours/impact of my role/team to the company is not compensated equally compared with other teams/dept.

I do feel there can be some improvement in salary compensation. Its nice that there are benefits that help balance that out, but I do believe there is room for improvement here.
