Honestly working at Tucows has been amazing for me. It is a good fit for me in both culture and in the work that I do. The company has a laid back culture and more start up practices than you would think for a company that is 25+ years old and the largest wholesale domains company in the world.

What makes you most happy at work?
Getting to improve the lives of people who work in Tucows Engineering.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is small but extremely nimble and gets things done. We have a long reach and I can see the value that we are bringing to the department and ultimately the company.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are incredibly hard working and are more down to earth than you would expect. I like that communication flows freely here between all levels, but decisions are made using reporting lines. It keeps people accessible, but also there is some order as well.
What did you like most about the interview process?
There is a lot of variety to experience with interviewing at Tucows. I had a great experience and I know others have too, but I think that some folks haven't and we can do more to make sure that we have more consistent processes in place for hiring.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone works hard and that is great to be around. At the same time, there is a lot of flexibility if you need it. The company is also pretty progressive when it comes to diversity and inclusion and has ERGs to support different identity groups in the company that are funded to engage in events.
