The described cultured and values contradict reality, which leads to painful disillusion. The company is in a rapid growth state, but is not prepared to handle it. This has led to a widespread demoralization. I am not sure I know anyone who is actually pleased to work at Twilio right now.

The ideas behind the Twilio values are super positive, but whether or not they are actually upheld is another thing.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
How they have created little budgets per month. For example, you get $30/mo for books, no matter who you are at the company. That being said, I do feel like it is a way to pay people less by creating the facade of perks.
