I love what Ventech stands for and the overall feel and experience as an employee. I feel like I have not gotten full potential due to COVID however. Look forward to what days will look like post-COVID.
What makes you most happy at work?
Personally, having good mental health days and achieving small goals I set for myself.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I love the open communication and all of the resources that are provided at Ventech. I would say 98% of the leadership team I feel like truly cares about me not just as an employee, but as a human being outside of work.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel cross-training is an excellent opportunity for growth & improvement at Ventech. It is more responsibility, pressure, & depending on time of year, more complex/time consuming calls. I feel that should be compensated or an option if we want/can take on those responsibilities at that time.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I do not really know my team all that well as I was recently switched to this current team. What interactions I do have, they are very pleasant and always willing to help each other out. Most are on different LOBs then I am so that sometimes is difficult.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
It has been hard to really evaluate the environment as I have never worked fully in the office due to COVID-19. What time I have spent, everyone is pleasant and helpful. It is definitely laid back but professional all at the same time. I feel like I can approach the CEO and the janitor all the same.
