The leadership is invested in ensuring the employee has the tools needed to be successful in the workplace (e.g., access to certification classes, educational funds, applications).

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
No career path for promotion, even when asked what do I need to do there is no answer. Job titles and descriptions are outdate and do not apply to position. Titles equate to compensation. The benefits have declined over the years, especially the medical. 9hr days and a day off would be apprec.

I was hired into a new role on an existing contract and took a 23K cut in pay. Although the discipline is new, the skills I posses have been commensurate with the team needs. My skills, background, and experience, along with education, and my demonstrated ability to meet needs deserve compensation

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Ventech's community support each other with little or no politics - people genuinely are not going to try and get ahead at the expense of their neighbor.

Remote work means folks have a lot of trust in each other, which helps with morale and helps get things done because they don't want to let their co-workers down.

What makes you most happy at work?
The challenge of all of the business areas in which we work. With a high focus on healthcare for much of our work the complexity of the challenges means we see something different regularly.
