The retirement package is unbeatable I believe. If you take advantage of the opportunities you are allowed early in your career, when you retire, you will be quite happy.

Base pay is very competitive and bonus pay is almost always guaranteed. What sets Deere apart is the incredibly generous 401(k) match, defined pension plan, and great tuition reimbursement. All 3 of those are better than I've heard from other companies, and the 3 combined is unheard of today.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
WE are now trying to be a tech company but only paying as a factory.

The job market and pay scale have changed dramatically in the last several years and we have no way to compete for the top talent coming out of college

No medical coverage after retirement. Large penalty for retiring before age 67. Difficult to move around laterally. No longer an incentive to move laterally if you can't move up.
