What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Need to LISTEN and LEARN. They need to give more control to the lower level managers to manager their teams and their process. They try to standardize everything to point that we spend 90% of our time working things that do not matter for our individual businesses.

The compensation at Boeing is not merit based. Instead, the compensation is calculated based on year of services regardless of an engineer's performance and contribution to the project.

Almost all companies pay their software developers more. Boeing devalues their software developers and overvalues others. This is why surveys like this have those who are extremely dissatisfied and others who are happy as this is the best they can get with their skill sets.

Where to begin, 737 MAX issues, among 1000s of others. Extreme waste of tax payer money. Completely incompetent people in management positions making decisions that greatly affect the company. Just look at Boeing stock and all the issues that have been happening. It is no surprise.

Promotions are almost unheard of in your current group. You're expected to apply to your own groups' open position at a higher level or change to a different team/organization in order to get raises/promotions. Retention is horrible as well.

Archaic, shortsighted vision, with never ending dead end changes has to be replaced with stronger, definable, measurable and a more unique visionary leadership that can show the workforce that there is a concrete future for them & the incoming youth. End the cast system of manager/employee
