My current manager is not good at his job and is not inclined to consider feedback.
Better management the know how to treat people and act professionally
Boeing has cut too many people with necessary institutional knowledge, which has led to some painful "escapes" in quality that have earned the company a bit of a black eye in recent years. The best way to improve would be to stop going through such deep cuts to personnel as often as they do.

It cant be improbed upin with congress and harlen crow laws
Spend more time on EQ traits with leaders and hire for merit, quails and leadership ability for managers. Avoid quotas they have become toxic.
need stronger leadership at executive level to get back on schedule
We need to build our systems to Match our customers needs. We need to stop cutting to improve our balance sheet and instead invest in our future. We need better supply systems and stop using 3pls that dont care about our business.
We need to get better with quality and delivery
Review from Engineering Dept
The executives cronyism and nepotism has creatwd a leadership team of "yes" people who are only out for themselves. There wojld need to be major housekeeping among the upper ranks.
Review from Operations Dept
Executive Council focused on the wrong things. Do mot make decisions based on reality or long term trends. They are completely out of touch with their teams and do not ever take personal responsibility
Not enough words to fully explain. The wheels are off the bus.
Our leadership lacks ethos, pathos, and logos.
We keep failing all of our large projects. We bid and are always 2x in cost and late in schedule. We are an embarrassment to the industry.
It has too many constituent elements stuck in the past. Combined with the brain drain during recent lay-offs have left the organization short of good people and even shorter of good ideas. There needs to be significant changes to HR and People policies to stimulate employee pride and trust.
Stop having major failures and win projects
Trim the 10,000+ VPs to 1000 or so. Also, most execs hire in with an engineering degree (maybe), they get coffee for a senior manager for a few months while earning an MBA, then start up the promotion ladder - screwing up progressively more important "leadership" roles.
New leadership with no GE Executives!
Can make change without removing Pros or policies
Where to begin, 737 MAX issues, among 1000s of others. Extreme waste of tax payer money. Completely incompetent people in management positions making decisions that greatly affect the company. Just look at Boeing stock and all the issues that have been happening. It is no surprise.
Review from Engineering Dept
A true evaluation of the leadership needs to be done and the people that get put into leadership positions need to be put there because they are good leaders and not just people that want to be there.
