When I got the job.
Everyone received the same qustions interviewing for the job code.
The ability to meet with different people across the board during the process. Extremely open forum to ask questions.
It was informal and relaxed
Questions are targeted for the positions. Easy to relate examples from similar past experience.
The easy and comfortable feeling they gave you
Discussion and interactive and open
Standardized questions and predictable format.
Asking questions relative to the position
Get in line with the market
current approach is too structured and prevents asking the right questions.
Fair candidate selection in prescreening
All questions have to be preapproved by HR. It's always in a STAR format. The questions are not that deep - it fails to weed out those who shouldn't be here. To be fair, as an applicant it's great because it will be one of the easiest interviews you'll ever have.
It was a phone interview with four other people, but there was a lack of technical discussion
Candidate feedback that's used well
Review from HR Dept
Get rid of the star interview process for certain jobs. There are situations where you need to work as a team and the star interview process focuses on "I" not "we". No person can run these programs solo
More behavioral interview questions. A better understanding of the role I do on the part of the interviewers.
Review from IT Dept
