Boeing Interviews Employee Reviews

What did you like most about the interview process?

Engaging conversation ans thought provoking qiestions

It was many years ago. They held it in person at my college.

The chance that was given to meet 3 Senior fellows that were experts in their field.

Review from Engineering Dept

Easy to answer questions during interview.

I liked that I knew the interview process and prepared days in advance for the role

The process was predictible and rote.

Off topic my manger was beating his meat in the plane

Simple and clear process, timely communication

Answering tough questions in the interview

Review from Operations Dept

It was very structured. Easy to follow along with the questions asked.

Questions are the same for every candidate, so it feels very fair and it's also a reasonable amount of work to prepare for.

Review from Finance Dept

When I got the job.

Everyone received the same qustions interviewing for the job code.

The ability to meet with different people across the board during the process. Extremely open forum to ask questions.

It was informal and relaxed

Questions are targeted for the positions. Easy to relate examples from similar past experience.

The easy and comfortable feeling they gave you

Discussion and interactive and open

Standardized questions and predictable format.

Asking questions relative to the position

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Get in line with the market

current approach is too structured and prevents asking the right questions.

Fair candidate selection in prescreening

All questions have to be preapproved by HR. It's always in a STAR format. The questions are not that deep - it fails to weed out those who shouldn't be here. To be fair, as an applicant it's great because it will be one of the easiest interviews you'll ever have.

It was a phone interview with four other people, but there was a lack of technical discussion

Candidate feedback that's used well

Review from HR Dept

Get rid of the star interview process for certain jobs. There are situations where you need to work as a team and the star interview process focuses on "I" not "we". No person can run these programs solo

More behavioral interview questions. A better understanding of the role I do on the part of the interviewers.

Review from IT Dept

Make it harder to get in

The structured interviews are boring. The way that the company interviews needs to change.

Review from Operations Dept

keep politics out of the interview process

Review from Engineering Dept

More open and conversational. Less stick to these set questions

Review from Customer Support Dept

Diversity. Some people shouldn't be in this position

Review from Product Dept

Everything, ask real questions. Have a skills test

Review from Product Dept

More Personal Questions about yourself, Goals you have.

Include some technical questions as part of interviews.

Stop with the canned corporate questions. Actually have an HR system that understands what specific functions need

ask more questions relating to the job
