Accomplishing difficult but obtainable goals. I like the technical aspects getting to work with top quality equipment producing aerospace parts.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel I am about 20% below market. We have good benefits but our salaries are low and our salary pools are low
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Leadership needs to give more control to lower level managers including salary decision etc. Just give us the top level goals and objectives. Let us do our jobs.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Great attitudes for the most part. All working together to get the job done. They are tired of being asked to do things that do not matter to any one other than to make a chart more green
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Need to LISTEN and LEARN. They need to give more control to the lower level managers to manager their teams and their process. They try to standardize everything to point that we spend 90% of our time working things that do not matter for our individual businesses.
