The overall experience with Vivint Solar as a company is positive. The company has a great product with a high quality install process. However, training is substandard in the Tampa office and management is poor. Other offices are hit or miss in both areas and local management needs improvement.

Meetings are motivational and team members support one another.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Compensation is 100% 1099 commission with no other benefits.
What makes you most happy at work?
Helping customers go green while saving money. High commission rates.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Very easy process that was relatively quick from application to hiring.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Some team members are very successful. Working atmosphere is very positive and motivating.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The CEO, David Bywater is someone I respect and admire. Middle management is also top-notch.
