You're just a number. Nothing made that clearer than during the height of the pandemic when salaries and 401K matches were cut and 20% of the workforce was furloughed. Two years later the company announced record earnings with no financial retribution to employees.

There were no particular highlights from the process.

There are some intelligent, hard working people left. You can learn from them if given the opportunity.
What makes you most happy at work?
The days that I am permitted to work from home. It is less toxic and soul crushing while I am remote.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Minuscule raises every year while completely ignoring inflation is just corporate greed. People will never feel valued until you change your ways.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Stop being tone deaf. Waving to a crowd on the NY Stock Exchange while your employees are burnt out and worse off financially than they were three years ago is shameful.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
It's not my coworkers fault that everyone is doing three jobs. People are rapidly leaving the company and either not being replaced or they bring in corporate yes-people who look good on paper, but bring no substance to the team.
