Twenty-one percent of workers across the tech industry say their company has suffered a major data breach of user information, according to the latest reading of an ongoing query by Comparably.
The results show that workers 18 to 25 have the highest rates of saying their company has had a major data breach (29%), while workers over 45 have the lowest rates of saying their company has had a major data breach (17% on average for workers 41 to 60).

In recent years, advances in cybercrime have resulted in several highly damaging data breaches, underscoring the need for companies to better protect themselves.
