Catalent Cares is our way of connecting Catalent team members—our time, talents, and resources—to our communities. Through our extensive employee-driven and philanthropic programs, we help our communities thrive. Catalent’s year-round Matching Gift Program engages and encourages team members to give to their favorite charities and causes. The program provides a 1-for-1 corporate match up to USD 2,000 for personal employee contributions to eligible nonprofit organizations each year. Catalent’s year-round Employee Volunteer Grant (EVG) program recognizes and encourages individual and team employee volunteer activities by providing corporate grants to nonprofits where employees are regularly involved. Each year, we celebrate two Company-wide volunteer events to engage and unite our global community: Catalent Month of Service (CMS), our month-long signature volunteer event held in November each year, activates employee volunteer teams from sites around the world; Earth Month celebrated every April, shines a light on our commitment to minimize the environmental impact of our operations and engages green teams and employees across the globe to volunteer and revitalize green spaces, eliminate waste, reduce carbon emissions, and participate in recycling drives, within the site and also in local communities. When our communities are affected by natural disasters and catastrophic events, we support local relief efforts through corporate grants, matching gifts, and volunteering. Catalent volunteers work with disaster relief organizations in a variety of ways, such as packing meals, promoting blood drives, and assisting with the physical cleanup of homes and neighborhoods. Our Community Ambassadors at each Catalent site are vital to the success of our programs and engagement who coordinate with the global Corporate Responsibility team and serve as liaisons, connecting employees to local causes and nonprofits. Through our Volunteer of the Year award, we recognize champion community ambassadors and passionate employee volunteers for their contributions to the community and for advancing Catalent’s Corporate Responsibility strategy and programs.

One of the many ways that Esri employees give back is by using Esri products to make a positive impact in the world. For example, one employee used Esri’s ArcGIS software to support the National Audubon Society for their yearly Christmas Bird Count event, which collects data to assess the health of bird populations and to help guide conservation action. Another Esri employee volunteered her time to create a homebound delivery system using Esri software for the Inland Empire Food Bank which helped them to effectively gather requests and distribute food to those who are elderly or immunocompromised. When our employees think of ways that our software can be used for good, they don’t hesitate to jump in and lend a helping hand.

How does this commitment to giving back align with your broader corporate values?

As a company, Esri values the unique and vast applications of our software that contribute to making the world a better place. Esri’s Nonprofit Organization Program provides nonprofit organizations with low-cost access to GIS software, training, content, and other resources.
